The Week view on the Timesheets page sorts its rows so that all the time for one project sits together. You can't change the order, but these rules tell you where to find a row.
The sort order
Rows are sorted from A to Z by:
- Project name. If your account uses project codes, the code comes first in the name, so rows sort by code.
- Timesheet category.
- Task. A row without a task comes before the rows with tasks.
- Status. If the same project, category and task has time in more than one status, each status gets its own row: approved time first, then draft, pending and rejected.
The customer name in brackets doesn't change the order.

A cell's border colour shows the status of its time: grey for draft, yellow for pending, green for approved and red for rejected.
Pinned and new rows
- A pinned row with time that week sits in its usual place. Pinned rows with no time that week come after all the other rows, in the order you pinned them.
- Add Row puts a new row at the bottom. When you click Save, the grid reloads and the row moves to its place.
Time that Week view doesn't show
- Several entries in one cell. Entries for the same project, category, task and status on the same day add up in one cell, which you can't edit in Week view. Change them in Day view.
- Entries without a project or category, such as a timer you stopped without choosing them, don't appear in Week view at all. Open Day view to finish them.
Day view lists each day's entries by start time, then in the order they were added. See getting started with timesheets for both views.
Sort your time another way
For a different order or grouping, use a report:
- Timesheet Details: group and sort entries by project, person, category, date and more.
- Timesheet Week View: the same week layout, grouped by person.
- Timesheet Summary: total hours by customer, project, category and team member.
