The calendar shows tasks on the days they're due, so you can see deadlines and busy weeks at a glance. It's one of a project's views, next to List, Board and Gantt, and it's also on My Tasks for your own tasks or a colleague's.
Open the calendar
- In a project: click the Calendar tab at the top of the project.
- In My Tasks: click Calendar. To see a colleague's tasks, click the name at the top left (such as "Sofia Alvarez's tasks"), choose the person under Tasks for and click Apply. The list shows the people on your projects, or everyone on a project for an Administrator.

The calendar shows every task that has a due date. A task with a start date runs as a bar from its start to its due date, and a task without one sits on its due date. To see a task without a due date, give it one. The coloured strip on each task is the colour of its status. A subtask shows its parent's name after its title.
Move around the calendar
- View switches between Month, Week and Day. Week and Day show tasks at their start and due times.
- The arrows go to the previous or next month, week or day, and Today brings you back to the current date.
- Search and Filter narrow the tasks shown, for example to one assignee or status. Grouping and sorting don't apply to the calendar.
- On a busy day in Month view, a more link (such as "3 more") replaces the tasks that don't fit. Click it to see them all.
Weeks start on the account's First day of week, set in Settings › Timesheet Settings.
Change tasks on the calendar
- Open a task: click it. Changes you make in the task show on the calendar straight away.
- Change its dates: drag the task to another day. To change only the start or the due date, drag the handle at either end of the task. The start time rounds down and the due time up, to the whole hour. A task that only had a due date gets a start date too.
- Add a task: click an empty day, or drag across several days. The Add Task window opens with those dates filled in.
Moving a task needs the Update task permission on the project, and adding one needs Create (the project's settings, Members tab, under Task Permissions).
If the task is linked to a booking on the team schedule, the booking moves with it. A linked booking can't start or end on a non-working day unless it has Schedule on Days Off ticked, so the move is refused with a message. See resource scheduling and project tasks.
Like the other views, the calendar can be saved with your filters as a custom view.
